Mark Harris is a well known saxophonist/educator in the front range area. Having previously been involved in more commercial music endeavors- show, popular music performing playing and recording; he more recently has been concentrating on performing, recording, and composing with lesser known but critically acclaimed experimental/avant original music groups including Thinking Plague, Hamster Theatre, and Random Axe. In addition he performs regularly as solo classical saxophone recitalist. He received a Masters Degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
