Welcome to the homepage of Denver-based jazz composer and saxophonist Wil Swindler, recipient of the 2008 IAJE Gil Evans Fellowship. Wil is featured as a composer with his own

9th+Lincoln Orchestra. In Oct 2006 he released a CD as a co-leader of the
Chamber Jazz Ensemble in Austin, TX which included his award-winning composition
the Wind-Up Bird. As a performer, Wil can be found all over Colorado (and occasionally around the country) with bands such as
Onda (Boulder based Latin-jazz),
9th+Lincoln Orchestra (modern big band jazz at
Dazzle),
the Colorado Jazz Orchestra (Greeley-based big band lead by Dana Landry and Jim White), as well as his own groups the
Wil Swindler Quartet and the
Elevenet.
